During the past two years CWA has taken issue with the
company's "Jusk Ask" (now Prefer to Refer) program.
The Company is asking you to sell Services that our technicians (ST's)
are not installing or maintaining. DSL and U-verse are two examples.
The Company is contracting DSL work (an ST function we might add)
to vendors outside the Bargaining Unit. We have the BEST technicians in the industry, but the Company decided to use sub-standard contractors to represent our company thus giving our jobs away, damaging our reputation, and surplussing ST's.
What has more value?
1 point = 1 dollar

1 Contractor = 1 Less Service Technician

The Union is requesting our members to give out the business office phone number (888-757-6500) to make sure that business is taken care of by UNION Professionals in our Bargaining Unit, instead of referring through the Prefer to Refer program.
